He’s Principal Conductor: “Coro e Orquestra da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa de Mirandela”; “Orquestra Clássica de Trás os Montes e Alto Douro - OCTAD” , “Filarmónica Artística Pombalense” , Pedagogical Director of "Academia de Artes da FAP", and Honorary Conductor of "K-Orchestra in Korea".
He started his musical studies with the Trumpet in Escola Profissional de Música de Viana do Castelo (Portugal), Conservatório Superior de Vigo (Spain) Escola Altos Estudos Musicais de Galicia (Spain). He was a trumpet player in “Orquestra Académica do Porto”; “Orquestra Sinfónica do Conservatório de Vigo”; “Real Philarmonia de Galicia”; “Orquestra Nacional dos Templários” and others.
Later he started to work on his technique and culture in the area of Orchestral Conducting with António Saiote, Ferrer Ferrán, Gerardo Estrada, Yury Gálias, Miguel Rodilla, Ernest Schelle, Rafael Sanz Espert, José Vilaplana, Phillip Sparke, Alfredo Ovalles, John Wilson, and others. He was distinguished in conducting competitions: Second Prize "Valencia Awards Music Competition 2021" in Spain; First Prize and Gold Medal "International Music Moscow Competition 2021" in Russia; Bronze Star "Music and Stars Awards 2020"; Public Vote Prize and National Prize “28th World Music Competition” in Vienna – 2020;
Received Professional Recognition “Rotary Club of Portugal” in Mirandela – 2020; First Prize and Gold Medal “International Conducting Competition of Villena” in Alicante – 2019; Honor Diploma “IV and III Conducting Competition” in Aspe – 2014 and 2013; Third Place “I Conducting Competition in Portel” – 2013; First Prize “V Conducting Competition” in Argamasilla de Alba – 2012. Others awards as a conductor:
Third Place “Windband Competition Villa de Lá Sénia – 2006”; Second Prize “Windband Competition Ciudad de Murcia – 2001”; and Mention of cultural merit and gold medal “Confederação de Comércio Luso-Galaica Vigo” - 2001. He has invited to work with orchestras from countries such as: Portugal, Holand, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belarus, France. Some works as a composer for a young orchestras: “Energia Murcense – 2016”; “ O mar nas suas catedrais – 2006”.
