<몽돌소리> 는 소리의 기원과 감각의 기억을 시각적으로 번역한 작품이다. 붉은 몸체는 악기의 물성을 넘어 감정과 생명의 중심부처럼 제시되며, 그 아래로 매달린 몽돌들은 보이지 않는 소리를 기다리는 침묵의 매개체로 작동한다. 줄에 의해 연결된 몽돌은 단순한 자연물이 아니라, 시간과 파동, 그리고 반복된 접촉 속에서 축적된 기억의 결정체이다.
이 작품에서 소리는 직접적으로 울리지 않는다. 대신 몽돌이 부딪히며 만들어낼 법한 상상의 음향, 바다의 리듬, 그리고 악기의 공명은 관람자의 감각 속에서 호출된다. 기타와 몽돌을 잇는 선은 소리의 흐름이자 긴장된 균형을 상징하며, 음악과 자연, 인공과 원초 사이의 관계를 섬세하게 드러낸다.

Mongdol Sound is a visual translation or the origin of sound and the memory of sensation. The red body of the guitar transcends its function as a musical instrument, appearing instead as a core of emotion and vitality. Suspended beneath it, the rounded stones (mongdol) function as silent mediators-objects that anticipate sound rather than produce it.
Connected by taut lines, the stones are not merely natural forms but condensed records of time, rhythm, and repeated contact. In this work, sound does not physically resonate. Instead, imagined tones-echoes of colliding stones, the rhythm of waves, and the resonance of the instrument-are activated within the viewer's perception.
The lines linking the guitar and stones symbolize the flow and tension of sound, revealing a delicate balance between music and nature, the artificial and the primal. Mongdol Sound proposes a deeper auditory experience through silence, presenting a visual score of lingering resonance and sensory memory that continues to reverberate beyond ce of sound.
