This work by Park So-yeon reveals hidden layers of time and emotion, like a cross-section of the earth exposed beneath a dark surface. The rough, blackened plane suggests silence and vast emptiness, while the organic curves and golden textures emerging from within evoke accumulated traces of nature and the inner strata of existence. The composition visually traverses the boundary between surface and interior, appearance and essence.

By emphasizing materiality and texture, the artist creates a space where chance and inevitability coexist.
